About me
Jordan Demain was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Southern New Jersey. Jordan began his collegiate career studying at Rutgers University intending to work in professional sports, but after realizing a more hands‑on career suited him better; he began studying wine at The Wine School of Philadelphia, and later at University of California-Davis. While still studying he worked and consulted for several wineries in southern New Jersey. In 2016 he moved to Virginia to be a harvest intern at King Family Vineyards, and when Pollak’s assistant winemaker relocated to Oregon he was offered a full‑time role there—where he has remained ever since. Jordan enjoys hands‑on work in the cellar and is passionate about East coast winemaking and elevating the area he is from. In his free time, he cooks, spends time with his dogs, geeks out about Lord of the Rings, and follows his favorite sports teams relentlessly.
